Evangelista, Frank M. 93, of Carver passed away at home November 18.Beloved husband of Marjorie (Post) Evangelista. Father of Judith McGeoghegan of ME, Nancy Comier of Tiverton, RI and the late Mark Evangelista. Step father of Noreen and David Silvia of Plymouth. He also leaves a sister Alberina Acciavatti of N. Weymouth, 11 grandchildren 5 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Frank was born in Italy he came to America as a young boy, he served in the U.S Marine Corps during WWII in the Pacific and was awarded The Purple Heart for wounds received in action. Frank worked as a bartender at the University Club in Boston for over 32 years. He was a former member of Lions Club a Life Member of the DAV and he enjoyed walking, gardening and biking.
A graveside service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery on Thursday November 21, at 2:00 PM. There are no visiting hours. Donations in his memory may be made to Cranberry Hospice 36 Cordage Park Cir. Plymouth, MA 02360.
