Obituary

KINGSTON, NH: Ann E. (Arsenault) Ducharme, 71, formerly of Beverly, MA, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 in the Rochester County Nursing Home, Brentwood, NH following brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Ronald A. Ducharme. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in December.
Born in Malden, MA she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Albina (Skatikis) Arsenault. Ann was a graduate of Girl’s Catholic High School in Malden, MA and received her BS degree in education from Salem State College. She had resided in Beverly for many years before moving to Kingston, NH.
Ann was an educator in the Beverly Public School System for over ten years. She also worked at North Shore ARC, as well as the Cape Ann Collaborative. She was an avid knitter and loved to spend time with her family and close friends, especially her beloved grandchildren and dog, Lily.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Charles Hossack of Wolfeboro, NH and Christine and Neil MacIver of Concord, NH; three sons and daughters-in-law, Andre and Corey Ducharme of Windham, NH, David and Andrea Ducharme of Newton, NH and Maurice and Lindsay Ducharme of Beverly; ten grandchildren, Abigail, Jonathan, Jake, Sara, Leo, Ben, Van, Gabrielle, Gavin, Jackson, and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 22, 2013 in Mary Mother of the Church, 12 Amesbury Rd., Newton, NH at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. There are no visiting hours. Interment will be held in the North Beverly Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 as well as Rockingham VNA & Hospice in care of Community Relations, Attention: Vivian Brown, Exeter Hospital, 5 Alumni Dr., Exeter, NH 03833-9905.
