Committal Service private.At 65 years of age, Barry passed away Monday morning at Haven Healthcare of Chelsea, where he had resided since July. Born in Boston, he was a resident of Revere for the last 22 years, prior to that he lived in East Boston for 9 years. An employee of the MBTA for over 23 years, retiring in 1993 for health reasons, he worked on the Blue Line in the Orient Heights Station. A United States Coast Guard Veteran he was also a member of the Somerville Aux. Police Force.
