Billy Walton, age 82, died Sunday, November 17, 2013 at his home in Memphis, TN. He was born December 23, 1930 in Leflore County, MS to the late Matteson and Alice Pulley Walton. Billy served in the United States Army and upon his discharge, he owned and operated a shoe-shine service. He attended New Jerusalem Church of God in Christ in Coffeeville, MS and enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the New Jerusalem COGIC in Coffeeville, MS on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. Funeral services will begin immediately following the visitation at 12:00 noon on November 23, 2013 at New Jerusalem COGIC with Pastor Lloyd Walton officiating.
Billy is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
