Nancy Ann Normand, 72, of Goffstown, died November 17, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Manchester on December 30, 1940, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian (Sullivan) Lajoie. She was educated in the local parochial school system and graduated St. Anthony High School.
Prior to retirement, Nancy had been employed by the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections and had attained the rank of lieutenant.
She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and sister who cherished time with family. She enjoyed the simple things in life. Family, friends, laughter, games and an occasional chocolate covered cherry. She was a giving and kind woman who never missed an opportunity to brighten the days of her loved ones. Her love, along with her smile lit up any room. As she moves on from this life into the next she has grown the wings of the snow angels she so loved to make. She will forever live on in the hearts of her family, friends and loved ones.
Family members include her children, Bonnie Ives and her husband Scott of Dunbarton, Michael Normand of Dunbarton, and Lynda Normand of Goffstown; her grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Amber and Kendall Ives; one brother, Frederick “Sonny” and wife Dottie Lajoie of Manchester; her oldest and dearest friend and niece Donna Pinkham and her family, as well as many other nephews, nieces, and cousins. She also leaves behind her furry friends, Nika, Josie, and Boo.

A Mass of Christian burial took place on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Saint Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave in Manchester followed by committal prayers at the Shaw Memorial Chapel in St. Joseph Cemetery, 448 Donald St, Bedford.
