Carl “Danny” Daniel, Jr., age 66, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013, at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Daniel was born on January 4, 1947, in Douglas, GA to the late Mary Lee Burkett Daniel and Carl Daniel, Sr.
Survivors include: his wife, Mary Daniel of Douglas, GA, two daughters, Megan Leigh Daniel of Tallahassee, FL and Catherine Daniel (Eric) Brigmond of Jacksonville, FL, three sons, Brian (Karen) Daniel of Hendersonville, TN, Scott (DeAnna) Daniel of Hopkinsville, KY, and Morgan Hewitt, III of Mt. Pleasant, SC, step-daughter, Deen (Nathan) Chanberlain of Signal Mountain, TN, step-son, Jeffrey (Kelli) Harper of Ambrose, GA, sister, Darlene (Leon) Roberts, of Douglas, GA and Uncle Bunnie (Mary) Burkett of Dublin, GA, fourteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 from 6-9 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at 2 :00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Shep Johnson officiating.
