Ansin, Rhona Shirley, 80 of Peabody and formerly of Chelsea passed away on November 15, 2013. Rhona was born in Everett and raised in Chelsea. She attended the Chelsea School System and was a graduate of Chelsea High School, Class of 1952. She has been a resident of Peabody for 52 years. Rhona was a lover of animals. She dedicated her entire life to her children and grandchildren.
Rhona was the devoted mother of Alan Ansin, Brenda Ansin, Mark Ansin and his wife Deborah, Glen Ansin and his wife Heather and Melissa Campbell and the late Todd Ansin. She was the dear sister of the late Arthur Klayman. Rhona was the loving daughter of the late Israel and Rose Klayman. Rhona was the loving grandmother of Matthew, Joshua, Aleia, Tyler and Mackenzie.
Services will be held at the Chevra Kadisha of Chelsea Cemetery, 232 Fuller St. Everett on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Memorial observance will be private. Donations in Rhona’s memory may be made to the MSPCA, 350 South Huntington Ave. Boston, MA 02130.
