Margaret “Mig” (Cameron) Kinney, 85, of Franklin formerly of Ashland and Mashpee, passed on November 14, at Milford Regional Medical Center, with her pocketbook at her side. She was the wife of the late Peter C. Kinney, who died in 1988.
She was born in Needham, June 23, 1928, the daughter of the late James T. and Eleanor (McGrath) Cameron.
She was the devoted mother of Peter Kinney and his wife Patricia of Fort Montgomery, New York, Paul Kinney and his companion Mary Jane of Franklin, Robert Kinney and his wife Helen of Franklin, Philip Kinney and his wife Katherine of Franklin and Maura Fields and her husband David of Franklin. She was the mother of the late William Kinney.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law Mary Kinney of Franklin.
She is also survived by her siblings, William Cameron, John Cameron, Mary Kinchla, Eleanor Fitzgerald and Fred Cameron.
She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 19 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street Franklin at 9:15 followed by a funeral mass in St. Mary’s church at 10:00
Burial will be at the Massachusetts National Cemetery Bourne at 1:00p.m.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 4-8.
