TAUNTON – Svein Ormseth, husband of the late Roseanne L. (Roberts) Ormseth, died at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Brighton on Nov. 12, 2013.
He was 70 years old.
Born in Norway, he was the son of the late Arne and Karen (Tosterud) Ormseth.
Raised and educated in Norway, Mr. Ormseth served in the Norwegian Air Force before moving to the Taunton area in 1971.
He was employed by Foxboro Express, where he worked as a truck driver for many years.
Mr. Ormseth is survived by two sons, Svein J. Ormseth of Taunton, and Marshall A. Ormseth of Fairhaven; a daughter, Lisa C. Vickey of East Taunton; three stepsons, Timothy, Derwood and Michael Mosher, all of Taunton; a sister, Synove Berget of Norway; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of the late Jan Ormseth.
Memorial Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on at Monday, Nov. 18th at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
The family will be receiving visitors at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 17th between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m.
