Doris C. Rodier, 93, passed away on November 13, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center. Doris was born in Chicopee on December 22, 1919 to the late Philomone and Julienne (Bell) LaBelle. She was a communicant of the former St Georges Church in Chicopee and now a communicant of Mary, Mother of Hope Church. She worked for over 20 years as a book binder for the John C Otto Bindry in East Longmeadow before retiring. She leaves her loving husband Roland Rodier of Chicopee; two daughters Claire Bigos and her husband William of Chicopee and Denise Londraville and her husband Edward of Chicopee also five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters Gertrude and Juliette Labelle and four brothers Joseph, Paul and Edward Labelle and Raymond Charland. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday November 17, 2013 from 4 to 7 PM at the Grise Funeral Home 280 Springfield St. Chicopee. A funeral service will be held on Monday November 18, 2013 at 8:45 AM from the Grise Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian Burial to take place at 10:00 AM in Mary, Mother of Hope Church. Burial will follow in St Patrick Cemetery in Chicopee. Donations may be made in Doris’s name to the Shriners Children Hospital, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
