Adam J. Taylor, 23, of Acushnet passed away suddenly on Friday November 8, 2013.
Born in Fall River, the son of Christopher P. and Linda M. (LeBlanc) Taylor, he lived in Acushnet for most of his life.
Adam had been employed as an electrician for Sparks Electrical Company.
He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 223. He was a graduate of Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he was a member of the baseball team.
Adam always lit up a room with his beautiful smile. He loved children and spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed pig roasts, bonfires, canoeing, wakeboarding, playing pool, listening to country music, singing, and the Boston Bruins.
Survivors include his parents; three siblings, Christopher P. Taylor, Jr. and his wife Melissa of Rochester, Megan A. Taylor and Noah W. Taylor, both of Acushnet; his grandparents, Marjorie Taylor of Acushnet and Al and Sally LeBlanc of New Bedford; two nieces, Leighton G. Taylor, who was his Godchild, and Audrey K. Taylor; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was the grandson of the late William Taylor.
His Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph-St. Therese Church, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Acushnet Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
