Gary Embrey, 76, passed away peacefully with family by his side Monday, November 11, 2013 at his Yulee, FL residence.
Mr. Embrey was born October 18, 1937 in McLeish, OH and moved to Yulee 9 years ago from Ravenswood, WV.
He enjoyed traveling, boating, NASCAR and the Cleveland Browns. Mr. Embrey was best known for his generosity and willingness to help others. Much of his retirement was spent assisting neighbors in need whether it be repairing a motorcycle or building a deck. His kindness and sense of humor will be
remembered by all those whose paths he crossed.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Embrey of Yulee, FL; a son, Kevin Embrey (Donna) of Powder Springs, GA; three daughters, Tracy McDonald of Marietta, GA, Wynter Kelly (Martin) of East Providence, RI and Alison Walker (Doug) of Yulee, FL; and 11 grandchildren.
Private family services will be held.
