Obituary

CHICOPEE – Therese U. “Terry” (Guilbault) Lepage, 75, a longtime resident of the Aldenville section of Chicopee was Called Safely Home on Sunday, November 10, 2013. She passed into Eternal Life at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family and her wonderful caregivers. She was born in Springfield on May 22, 1938, a beloved daughter of the late Wallace J. and Una (Ducharme) Guilbault. She was raised on Saint Louis Avenue in the Willimansett section of Chicopee, graduated from the former Mount Carmel Elementary and High Schools and lived in Willimansett for many years before moving to the Aldenville section of Chicopee around 1968. She was a longtime communicant of the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Willimansett and currently a communicant of Sainte Rose de Lima Church in Aldenville. She was a loving wife and mother to her four sons and a wonderful homemaker to her family. She showered them with her love and affection which was returned to her a thousand fold. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Richard L. Lepage who was Called Home on February 26, 2008. They were married on November 22, 1962 at the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Willimansett and were blessed with over 45 years of happiness together. She leaves her four loving sons, Eugene M. Lepage and his wife, Sandy, of Avon, CT, James H. Lepage and his wife, Denise, of Chicopee, Joseph A. Lepage and his wife, Melissa, of Chicopee, and Russell R. Lepage and his wife, Barbara, of Chicopee; her six cherished grandchildren whom she adored, Mark and Thomas Lepage, Steven and Michael Lepage, and Hannah and Haleigh Lepage; her dear sister, Clemence Dupont and her husband, Paul, of Phoenixville, PA; her dear brothers-in-law of the Lepage family, Roger “Jimmy” Lepage of Chicopee, and Roland “Babe” Lepage and his wife, Dorothy, of Granville, MA; her dear sister-in-law of the Lepage family, Leona Leduc of West Springfield; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended members of the Guilbault and Lepage families. Her funeral will be held on Thursday November 14, 2013 beginning at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels, (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020, (funeral home will open at 11 a.m.), followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. in Sainte Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her burial will follow the Mass at Sainte Rose Cemetery, 49 Olsen Street, Chicopee, MA 01020. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The parking lot and main entrance are located in the rear of the funeral home at 20 Lafayette Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
