Charlotte Susan Hungate
Jan. 10, 1911 to Nov. 10, 2013

Charlotte Susan Hungate, 102, of Anderson, died at her residence following an extended illness.

She was born, January 10, 1911 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Herbert and Lora (Mobley) Hungate.

She graduated from Morristown High School in 1929 and Indianapolis Business College.

She worked 32 years for the Department of Defense before retiring in 1970.

She was a member of Bethany Christian Church since 1970, a volunteer at St. John's Hospital from 1971 to 2001.

She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star #154; Business & Professional Women's Association where she was former president of the Anderson Chapter; Business & Professional Women's Assoc. She loved traveling and went on 32 cruises after retirement.

A special thanks to the girls at Home Instead and Robin, Sharon, and Denny for all of their loving care.

Survivors include her three nephews, Jim (Leanna) Lee of Alexandria; Dean (Marie) Day and David Day all of Pasadena, CA; several great and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dorothy Day and Nancy Lee.

Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, November 16 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Bob Bell and Kent Stookey officiating.
Visitation will be two hours prior to service.

Burial of cremated remains will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville, Indiana at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Madison County Humane Society.
