NATICK- Dorothy Helen (Winters) Smith, age 88, a longtime resident of Natick passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Thomas Upham House in Medfield from complications of a stroke she suffered the week before. She was the devoted wife of Donald F. Smith who passed away in February, and the late George W. Reebe, Sr.

Dorothy was born, raised and educated in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Modzelewski) Winters. Dorothy later met and married Donald Smith in October of 1973. Dorothy and Donald shared a loving 40 years of marriage. Together they traveled, went fishing, and enjoyed all the wonders of the New England sports teams, the Red Sox, the Patriots, the Bruins and the Celtics, cheering them all on through the years. Dorothy and Donald worked many years together in the custodial department at Wellesley College until her retirement in 1988. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo and taking day trips to the casino where her friends dubbed her "Lucky Dot." She looked forward to lunch dates with close friends.
