FRANKLIN, NH - Vic Anthony Tyll, age 43, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, November 10, at the Lakes Regional General Hospital in Laconia, following an apparent heart attack. He was the life partner for the last fifteen years of Douglas Schofield, with whom he resided in Franklin, NH.
Vic was born in Detroit, March 27, 1970, a son of Gerald Tyll of Oscoda, MI, and the late Patricia (Cary) Tyll. He was raised in Michigan and moved to New Hampshire at age twelve. He lived in Sothern NH, and Manchester before settling in Franklin ten years ago. He graduated from West High School in Manchester, NH.
Vic worked at several jobs over the last two decades. He had worked as a Service Representative at Home Depot in Tilton, for ten years, and most recently was a service representative for the Social Services Division of the State of New Hampshire in the Concord offices.
Besides his beloved partner Douglas, and his father Gerald, he is survived by his niece, with whom he and Douglas held guardianship, Leeann Hollis; his siblings, Victoria Hollis of Manchester, NH, Paul Tyll of Raymond, NH, Sean Tyll of VA, Kim Micakobic of Stirling Heights, MI, and Jennifer Romano of MI. He also leaves his extended family, Douglas’ family; parents Ellsworth and Dolores Hart of Sun City Center, FL and Fred Schofield of Epping, NH; siblings, Brad and Cheryl Schofield of Tewksbury, Jeff and Jana Schofield of Charlotte, NC, and Pamela and Glen Caverly of Mooresville, NC; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his beloved family dogs, Snickers, Bentley, and Dutchie.
His funeral service was held Saturday, Nov. 16, in the funeral home followed by burial at Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to the American Diabetes of NH, 249 Canal St., Manchester, NH 03101, or visit www.diabetes.org are encouraged.
