Beloved father of Cosme Daniel Calcano of the Dominican Republic, Nelson Benjamin Calcano of New York, Manuel Emilio Calcano of the Dominican Republic, Midalma Calcano of Boston, Maria Del Carmen Calcano of the Dominican Republic, Magda Pina of Puerto Rico, William Pina of the Dominican Republic, Celeste Pina, Wilson Pina, Kent Pina and Winston Pina all of Boston. Cherished grandfather of 33 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also lovingly survived by a sister, Celeste Pina as well as 5 brothers and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Wednesday morning, September 29th at 11 AM with the Rev. Terrence Moran, Pastor of St. Rose of Lima Church, officiating. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.Eleodoro, age 74, passed away from heart complications early Sunday morning at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he had been a patient for the last 12 days.A long time resident of his homeland of the Dominican Republic, Eleodoro came to the United States, settling in Chelsea in 1991. In his native country he worked as a barkeep.
