Obituary

Jeannine A. (Pelletier) Waldie, 77 of Salem, died unexpectedly Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at the NSMC / Salem Hospital.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Lucien W. and Eva B. (Fraser) Pelletier. Jeannine was a resident of Salem for most of her life. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Eaton Nova of Danvers.

Jeannine adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing and winning at cards and games with her children and dear sister Annie. Jeannine was also an avid Red Sox fan. She will be greatly missed by her devoted family and friends.

She is survived by three daughters, Jane M. Waldie and her husband Robert Carey of Hamilton and Glen, NH, Joyce A. Modugno and her husband Clint of Wenham, Linda M. Waldie and her partner Jim Armstrong of Beverly, a son, Robert W. Waldie of Ipswich, Three brothers, Norman Pelletier and his companion Jeri Switzer of Kansas, Wilfred Pelletier of California, Jean Pelletier and his wife Denise of New Hampshire, two sisters, Yvette Bontorno and her husband Gus of New Hampshire and Anne Salvo and her husband Joe of Salem. She also leaves her four grandchildren, Andrea & Jeffrey Garcia, Emma & Meg Waldie, three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Domenic and Aidan, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur, Roland & Albert Pelletier, and sisters, Lorraine Ouellette, Rosemarie Pelletier & Cecile Tremblay.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visiting hours at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
