Obituary

Regina (Beauboeuf) Fareau was born on April 7, 1924 in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti.
She was the first child born to the late Marc and Elvire (Valles) Beauboeuf.
In 1947 she married Gerard Fareau and pursued her education in teaching and administration. She briefly moved to Africa in 1967, and, in 1971, the family migrated to the United States where she continued her dedicice as an administrative assistant at Tufts University and Roxbury Community College until her retirement in 1988. Regina was a longtime Lynn community resident and attended both Sacred Heart and St. Mary’s Church, in which she proly participated in assisting her Haitian community residents by volunteering in the Haitian Thrift Store.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Fareau in Nov. 1989 and leaves behind her children, Jean-Robert, Gerard Jr., Leslie Fareau and his companion Linda Autry; her grand-daughters, Staci Larkin, Kim Fareau, Katrise Dillon and Carmen Fareau; four sisters, Janine Mauze, Marie-Therese Beauboeuf, Solange Trudat and Yvonne Desmangles, as well as her brothers, Fritz, Roger and Pierre Beauboeuf; five great-grandchildren, several sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, god-children and a host of friends. She was the sister of the late Emmanuel and Jean Beauboeuf.
She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
Service information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the NADWORNY FUNERAL HOME, 798 Western Ave., Lynn, on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
