Edna B. Tousignant, 91, of oak view, passed away on Monday November 4, 2013
Born July 9, 1922 in Daggett, Michigan she was a Ventura County Resident for the past 65 years coming from Michigan. Edna was an Elementary School Teacher in Michigan and a cook for 12 years for the Ventura Unified School District. Edna was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the American Legion 8 and 40 and an active member of the Methodist Women's Club. She was a ceramic bird collector, enjoying reading, working crossword puzzels and gardening.
Edna is survived by her son Roger Tousignant of Oak View; daughters Judy Hon of Henderson, NV, Linda Chase of Ventura, CA, and Leanna Kennedy of Oak View; Sisters Loretta Shields, Elaine Wilbanks, Gertrude Jetton, and Carol Burt; sister-in-laws Joella Glazer and Pat Jenkins; grandchildren Justin, Cindy, James, Wendy, Billy, Elizabeth, Lauren, and Clifford; great-grandchildren Jacob, Celina, Jonathan, Christine, Makella, and Everett.
Memorial Services will be held at 1PM Sunday November 10, 2013 at the Ojai United Methodist Church 120 Church Road at Maricopa Highway, Ojai. Private Interment will be held in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
