Robert P. Lussier, 77, of Marlborough, formerly of Worcester died Monday, November 4th in UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus. He leaves his wife of 52 years, Helen E. (Iamartino) Lussier; his two daughters, Annette M. Lussier and Debra A. Saunders; four sons, Robert M., Joseph P., Michael P. and Thomas A. Lussier; twelve grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Lussier was born in Montreal, Canada the son of Wilfrid and Aurore (Barriere) Lussier. He was a graduate of Worcester Voke and after several years of working as a carpenter, Mr. Lussier returned to school and graduated from Worcester State College and further earned his Masters in Education. He taught at Tantasqua Regional Vocational School in Sturbridge for over twenty years. Mr. Lussier also served as past president of the Massachusetts Vocational Teachers Association.
The family would like to thank the staff at UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus for all the kindness and attention they gave to Mr. Lussier. Their individual assistance provided to our family in the time of need will forever be remembered.
His funeral is Friday, November 8th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, November 7th from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
