David D. Hale, 58, passed away peacefully at home, November 3, 2013. He had worked for Frito-Lay for 32 years and was a truck driver for Horton’s Fruit Co., and was an Army veteran. Preceded in death by his mother and father, sister and brother. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Brenda L. (Goff) Hale, daughter, Lisa Marie Sands; granddaughter, Briana Marie Sands; brother, John “Doug” Hale, and many other family members and friends. Funeral service will be Friday at 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Hosparus or American Cancer Society.
