Audrey Beryl Osborne (Clougherty) Reed, 75, of Medway died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at her son’s home in Hallwood, VA. She was the wife of the late Normand F. Reed.
Born in Medway on October 4, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Chandler and Beryl Mae (Henry) Osborne.
Mrs. Reed was a lifelong resident of Medway and graduated from Medway High School in 1956.
Before her retirement, she was a lab technician at Archer Rubber in Milford for many years.
Mrs. Reed enjoyed gardening and tending to her houseplants.
She is survived by three sons, Charles H. Clougherty, III of NH, Franklin E. Clougherty of Manchester, NH, and Timothy Clougherty, Sr. of Hallwood, VA; three daughters, Theresa Charbonneau of South Bellingham, Marie Hamel of Hooksett and Jessie Herrig of Gardner; three sisters, Beryl May Vecchiolla of Milford, Winifred Baker of Brookings, SD and Selma Laverne of Medway; her longtime friend and companion, Charles J. McLain of Milford; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Elaine Carlow and Beverly Downs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Christ Episcopal Church, 14 School St., Medway on Friday, November 8 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in West Medway.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St., Medway (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
