Herman Grantham, 70, of Tifton died Monday, November 4, 2013, at Golden Living Center. Private services and burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Grantham was born on October 16, 1943 in Irwin County and was the son of Robert B. Grantham and Mary Milner Grantham, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jewell Barlow Grantham. He was a retired construction worker and also served in the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Grantham is survived by four step-sons, Raymond C. Owens, Tony L. Owens, Wayne C. Owens and Joel Owens; two step-daughters, Mary M. Barlow and Wanda Sue Groves; one brother, Kenneth Grantham; 17 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
