Franklin S. "Frank" Wood, 91, of Anderson, IN, died at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on November 2, 2013 following an extended illness.
Frank was born December 16, 1 921 in Richmond, Missouri to Lewis and Ruth S. (Stebbins) Wood. He graduated from Anderson High School in 1943.
He was employed 40 years for Guide Lamp retiring in 1982 as a tool designer.
He was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church. He was a former member of Solar Masonic Lodge # 734 in Anderson.
He enjoyed spending time with his family and family camping trips.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sally C. (Berry) Wood of Anderson; three daughters, Susan Bucove of Bloomington; Mary Ann Nowzari of California and Peggy Huhn of Battleground, IN ; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Lewis F. Wood and Robert E. Wood.
Service will be 12 Noon on Wednesday, November 6th at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor John Hackney of Cross Roads United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Wednesday.
Burial will take place at a later date in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Cross Roads United Methodist Church or the Madison County Humane Society.
