NEAL - Virginia E. Neal, 86, of Callahan passed away Sunday morning, November 3, 2013.
She was born June 15, 1927 in Clay County, WV and moved to Callahan, FL 19 years ago from Jacksonville, FL.
She was a member of Dinsmore Baptist Church. Mrs. Neal will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dencil D. Neal, and by two sons, Terry Wayne Neal and Gary Dennis Neal.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Wright of Callahan, FL, Loretta White (Jerry) of Bryceville, FL and Diane Butcher of Franklin, MN; four sons, Kerry Neal (Patty) of Jacksonville, FL, Edward Neal of Callahan, FL, Mitchell Neal, also of Callahan and Donald Neal (Mary) of Jacksonville, FL; four sisters, Gay Happney of Brickmore, WV, Dolly Sanders of St. Louis, MO, Mary Cooper of Myrtle Beach, SC and Faye Cooper of Gauley Bridge, WV; a brother, Leonard Neal of Maysel, WV; 27 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Green Pine Cemetery with Pastor Winston Butler officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Green Pine Funeral Home.
