Joventina (Arruda) DeSousa, age 86 passed away on October 31, 2013. Born in Arrifes São Miguel, Açores she was the wife of the late Tiberio DeSousa and daughter of the late João and Maria (Flor) Arruda. She was a member of St. Michael’s Church.
Joventina was the mother of Valter Sousa (wife Eduarda) of Mississauga, Canada, Victor Sousa (wife Maria), Maria Carreiro (husband Lionel) and Alda Sousa all of Fall River; brother of Manuel Arruda Flor of Fall River; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Maria Rosa Resendes.
