Obituary

Richard D'Agostino, 65, of Chester, died October 29, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in White Plains, NY on June 6, 1948, the son of Angelo and Catherine (Catalano) D'Agostino. He earned a bachelor's degree in history from the University of NH.
Prior to retirement in January of this year, Richard had been employed as a rural letter carrier for the United States Postal Service.
He will be remembered for his passion for cars, motorcycles and love of racing. He was always outdoors either hiking, biking, walking, or playing tennis. He truly was a modern day "Renaissance Man" with a great sense of humor who was extremely smart, well spoken, and appreciated the arts, whether in museums or in the movies.
Family members include his daughter Sara D'Agostino of Chester; his son, Robin D'Agostino of Chester; his mother, Catherine D'Agostino of Goffstown; his former wife, Cynthia Robinson of Chester; his sister, Antonia D'Agostino of Porstmouth. He was predeceased by his father Angelo and brother, Robert D'Agostino.
A service was held on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester.
