LOWELL—Jose’ A. Montanez, Sr., 44 years old, died, Sunday September 12th, at the Lowell General Hospital.
He was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, on February 23, 1960, a son of Ramon Montanez and Rosaura Rivera, of Lowell.
Prior to his illness, he had been employed at Joan Fabrics, in Lowell.
Surviving him are three sons: Jose A. Montanez, Jr., Andy Montanez, and Eduardo Montanez, all of Lowell; two brothers: Raul Bracetty, of Lawrence; and Carlos Bracetty, of Lowell; a sister: Wanda Bracetty, of Lowell; also three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 8 to 10 AM on Wednesday morning, September 15th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). A funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 10 AM. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery.
