LOWELL—Frances (Bomil) Maples, 93 years old, died Tuesday August 31st, at Saints Memorial Medical Center.
She was born in Lowell, on April 21, 1911, a daughter of the late George and Eleanora (Bauba) Bomil, and was a graduate of the Lowell Public School System.
Mrs. Maples was a self-employed hairdresser who owned and operated beauty shops in the Boston area.
Surviving her are a sister and brother-in-law: Helen and Christos Stamas, of Lowell; three grandchildren: Cynthia Rodriguez, of California; Stacey Chavez, of Colorado; and Shawn Dixon, of Colorado; also several nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Rose Marie Rodriguez, and sister of the late Alphonse Bomil and George Bomil, Jr.
Private Services were held today with burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
