Betty Jo Hoyt, 86, peacefully passed from this life on Saturday, October 26, 2013.
She was born September 3, 1927 in Abilene, TX was a resident of Jacksonville, FL for over 60 years.
She was a member of Riverside Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday School with her late husband, Landon Hoyt. As an avid bridge player, she enjoyed playing the game with her friends. She was the owner and operator of Hoyt Stereo.
Survivors include two sons and daughters in law, Lee & Tonda Hoyt of Jacksonville, FL and Russell & Pam Hoyt of West Hills, CA; and four grandchildren, Landon, Suzanne, Conner & Kyle Hoyt.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28th at 11:00 AM at Riverside Presbyterian Church, 849 Park Street.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to either the Meals on Wheels program at Riverside Presbyterian Church or Community Hospice of Northeast Florida.
