Michael R. Kober, 48, of Franklin, died suddenly October 27, in the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
Born in Morristown, New Jersey, February 7, 1965, the son of Alan R. and Frances (O’Connell) Kober, Mr. Kober had been a resident of Franklin for the last 43 years.
He was a 1983 graduate of Franklin High School.
Mr. Kober was employed by the Metrowest Newspaper for the past 30 years.
Mike was a very patriotic man who faithfully raised the American flag at his home every day.
He was also an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots and adored his nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his siblings, Kelly Verdolino and her husband David of Medway, Gregg Kober and his wife Janyce of Hopedale and Kathleen Meservey and her husband Mark of Stafford, Virginia.
He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Josh and Nate Adler of Medway, Kyle and Evan Kober of Hopedale and Nicole, Maura and Seth Meservey of Stafford, Virginia.
Visitation will be held on Friday November 1 from 3-7 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street Medway.
Burial will be private.
