Elizabeth C. Petrillo, a lifelong Woburn resident, passed away on Wednesday morning at the Melrose - Wakefield Hospital, in Melrose, she was eighty-four years old.
Born in Bethel, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Marion (Ciampo) and Anthony Petrillo. She was a graduate of Woburn High School class of 1938. Elizabeth retired after forty-five years of service with Raytheon of Waltham. In her retirement she enjoyed traveling, and most of all being with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Surviving are her three sisters, Margaret Petrillo, Jennie Pecora, Adeline Degata and her husband Stephen all of Woburn. One brother Anthony Petrillo of Reading. Also many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers Nicholas “Colli”, Joseph and Carlo Petrillo, three sisters, Frances Quinno, Delaphine Walker and Virginia Petrillo and her brother in law Al Pecora.
Her funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant st. Woburn, on Saturday, September 25, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
