Normand L. Lafrance, 90, formerly of Gorham, NH passed away on Sunday morning Oct. 27, 2013 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. He was born in Berlin, NH on Aug. 13, 1923 the son of the late Alphonse and Alma (Montminy) Lafrance and was a lifelong resident of the Berlin - Gorham area. Normand was a US Army Air Corp veteran of WW2. Prior to his retirement in 1985 he had been employed by the Brown Company and James River Corporation. He enjoyed wintering in Florida with his wife for 25 years.
Members of his family include his wife Irmgard E. (Shreiner) Lafrance of Berlin; a daughter Linda Reichert and her husband James of Gorham; two grandchildren Angie Lewis of Lake Worth, FL and Tobey Reichert of Gorham; two great grandchildren Trista Lewis and Camden Reichert; a sister Theresa Lafrance of Berlin; three brothers Leo Lafrance of Laconia, Lucien Lafrance and Robert Lafrance, both of Berlin; nieces, nephews and cousins.
