Manchester, NH– Joan Dionne, 73, died October 27, 2013 at St. Teresa’s Health Care Center surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Yonkers, NY. on August 24, 1940 the daughter of Daniel and Bridie (Cleary) Cronin.
She attended college at Framingham State for three years prior to starting a family.
She enjoyed traveling, photography, trips to the zoo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Family members include her husband of 50 years, Alfred N. Dionne of Manchester, one son, Alfred N. Dionne Jr. of Norwood MA., two daughters, Catherine Doherty and her husband, Fred of Chelmsford, MA., Michele Small and her husband, David of Sandwich, MA., and three grandchildren, Michele Doherty, Sarah Doherty, and Daniel Small.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 9 AM to 11:30 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, NH. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 AM in the funeral home.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family in NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
