Alice (Duquette) Azevedo, 87, of Westport, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Our Lady’s Haven in Fairhaven. She was the wife of the late George P. Azevedo.
Born in Somerset and daughter of the late Albert and Lea (Autotte) Azevedo, she had resided in Westport for most of her life. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a service worker for various hotels in the area.
Survivors include her 2 sons: David Azevedo and his wife Robin of Westport and George P. Azevedo, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV; 2 daughters: Pamela Wotton and her husband Robert of Canaan, NH and Toni-Ann Cormier and her husband Kyle of Dartmouth; 1 brother: Leo Duquette of Swansea; 9 grandchildren: Ethan, Bryan, Christopher, Jessica, Melissa, Michael, Heather, Zachary and Alex; 5 great grandchildren: Kylie, Benjamin, Dakota, Zachary and Micaela; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Walter, Gilbert and Ernest Duquette.
