Obituary

Auburn – Gerald F. Kelley Jr., 63 of 4 Clark St. died on Wednesday September 22, in St. Vincent Hospital after an illness.

Mr. Kelley is survived by his wife of 12 years Phyllis R. (Brooks) Kelley of Auburn; four daughters Loretta I. Kelley and Christina M. Pezzano both of Worcester, Cynthia A. Mulcahy of Shrewsbury and Diane E. Herzig of Mashpee; a step child Caron M. Rocha of Watertown; his former wife Pauline C. Kelley of Worcester; 7 grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Kelley was born in Worcester son of Gerald and Loretta (Stone) Kelley Sr.

Mr. Kelley is a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked as a truck driver for Roadway Co. and as a Brick Mason for the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsman Local 6.

Mr. Kelley was an avid square dancer and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed gardening and photography.

The funeral will be held on Saturday September 25 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 10 AM in St. Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Worcester. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Friday September 24 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Research c/o The American Cancer Society 1115 West Chestnut Street Brockton, MA 02130.
