Obituary

Barbara (Taggart) DeMarco of West Wareham lost her battle with Breast Cancer on Sunday, September 16, 2012, at Brigham and Woman’s hospital in Boston, at the age of 64.
Barbara was born on November 2, 1947 in Norwood. She lived in Norwood for most of her life. She moved to West Wareham 1998, where she worked with Steve Morrison at Sears Hometown store, as the Store Manager. Barbara also worked for many years at Woolworth’s as a sales associate, and Personal/Loss Prevention Manager.
Barbara leaves behind a loving son Timothy DeMarco and his wife Lynne of West Wareham, a loving daughter JoAnne Frye and her husband Stephan of Franklin, a granddaughter Emilie Frye 10 of Franklin, grandsons Zachary DeMarco 8 and Finley DeMarco 5 of West Wareham, a brother James Taggart Sr. and his wife Bea of Holbrook, a sister in-law Mary Taggart of East Wareham, as well as many nieces and nephews and many great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Hilton and Emilie (Schacht) Taggart, a brother Thomas Taggart, all formerly of Norwood and a brother Peter Taggart, formerly of East Wareham (and Foxboro).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main Street in Franklin on Saturday, November 2 from 12 - 2p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
