Albert J. Dubois, 88, of Salem, NH died Thursday, Oct. 24th at Mary Immaculate Nursing Home in Lawrence, MA.
Al grew up in Lawrence, the son of the late Georgianna (Jalbert) and Hormidas Dubois. He served in the Army during WW II. Al retired from Western Electric where he worked as a security guard. Al was a member St. Joseph’s Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Peterson Council #4442 of Salem, NH. He enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lorraine (Nolet) Dubois, his son John.
He is survived by his children, Michael of Salem, NH, Debra and her husband Kevin, Weinhold of Methuen, MA, Sharon Hatch of Methuen, MA, Jeanne Knudsvig of San Antonio, TX, Linda and her husband Grant Donahoe of Tewksbury, MA; his daughter-in-law Lina Dubois of Salem, NH; 16 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 28th from 4:00-8:00 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
The Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 AM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
