Augusta, GA – Mr. Franklin “Frank” Lamar Williams, 81, beloved husband of Mrs. Becky Christenberry Williams, entered into rest on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Pine Forest Baptist Church in Langley, SC with Pastor Ron Doss officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 in Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs, NC with Pastor Roy Arrington officiating.
“Mr. Frank” as he was affectionately known owned and operated the skating rink in Aiken for many years. He was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church where he was a member of the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class. Frank was born in Fayetteville, NC to parents Hubert L. & Easther Pender Williams. He loved his Lord and his church.
In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his sons, Marvin H. Williams, Larry L. Williams (Becky), Donald L. Williams; his daughters, Gloria J. Blunt (Earnest), Jenny Schuster (Bill), Debbie Clark, and Donna J. Hertzog (Al); his sister, Shirley M. Minkler; and by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Adult Men’s Sunday School Class.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening, October 27, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
