Fierce, loyal, loving, creative, radiant: dear friend Mona Anderson passed away on Sunday, October 13, in the company of those who loved her. Mona spent several years in Boston before moving to Provincetown first in the 1970’s, and then again in 1993. In the words of longtime friend Nedra Williams, Mona was truly a self-made woman, using her entrepreneurial spirit to forge a rich life as a business owner, social activist, artist, gallery owner, and realtor. She continues to be well-loved by her community and the family she leaves behind, including Dianna Cavalieri, goddaughter Natasha, and Jamie Kryszkiewicz. Mona’s laugh, her kindness, and her spirit occupied an enormous space that will remain forever vacant, and we will always miss her. A service is being planned for this spring. Donations can be made in Mona’s name to the Alzheimer’s Family Caregiver Support Center, 2095 Main St., Brewster, MA, 02631 or to Helping Our Women, 344 Conwell St., Provincetown, MA, 02657.
