Obituary

Worcester – Morton A. Richard, 86, of Worcester, died on Wednesday, October 23rd in the Jewish Health care Center after a period of declining health.

Mr. Richard was married to his loving and devoted wife of 55 years, Susan (Kenneway) Richard. He also leaves a brother, Curt Richard and his wife Caroline of Georgia and many nephews and nieces. Morton was born in Worcester, son of the late John and Ruth (Curtis) Richard and is also predeceased by a brother James Richard.

Morton is a graduate of the former Commerce High School and served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked as a printer for many years at the Vogue Wallpaper Company in Fitchburg.

Mr. Richard was a longtime member of St. Charles Borromeo Church until its merger with Blessed Sacrament Church. He had a love for his yard, gardening and traveling with his wife.

The funeral will be held on Monday, October 28th at 10 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church 555 Pleasant St. Entombment in Notre Dame Mausoleum will follow. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
