Dorothy A. (Letendre) English, 78, formerly of Manchester, died October 23, 2013 at Oceanside Nursing Home in Hampton after a long illness.
She was born in Manchester on September 8, 1935 to Urbain and Marina (Bouchard) Letendre. She lived in Manchester for most of her life.
Dorothy worked at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Manchester for many years. She was a very creative person who enjoyed sewing and baking.
She was married to Donald L. English who died in 2003.
The family includes five children, Carol Kilar and her husband, Bob, of Manchester, Gloria Coltrin and her husband, Steve of Arizona, Mark Guillemette and his wife, Kathleen, of Texas, Roger Guillemette and his wife, Christine, of Maryland and Julie Jenks and her husband, Wayne, of Raymond; six grandchildren, Kyle, Donn, Nicholas, Megyn, Zackary and Amanda; a great grandson, Noah; a sister, Doris Pinard and her husband, Norman, of Canterbury; a brother, Harvey Letendre of Weare; one niece, four nephews and cousins.
After cremation, encryptment of cremated remains will be at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at the convenience of the family.
