ANDERSON, DORIS FRANCES, passed away October 22, 2013 at home. She was the former Doris Johnson and was born in Lebanon Junction, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Kevin "Brother" Anderson; and husbands, Singleton Owen Jr., and Herbert D. Anderson. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Wermuth, Donna Ison, Lori Osborne and Alicia Wilson (Joseph); brother, William P. Riggs; and sisters, Helen Cleophous Bryan and Inez Genevieve Johnson; also seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Bullitt Lick Cemetery, Shepherdsville, KY. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 1-8 p.m. and Thursday after 10 a.m. Expressions of sympathy to the family may be made in care of the funeral home.
