Fahey, Emily R. of Marshfield, passed away on October 20, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 15 surrounded by her loving family. Dear daughter of John and Olga (Garcia) Fahey. Loving sister of Jennifer Montanez, John Fahey and Caroline Fahey all of Marshfield. Dear granddaughter of Rita Fahey and the late Michael of Florida and Ana Eva Montanez and the late Luis Nolberto Garcia of Colombia. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Rte. 139 on Thursday, October 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Friday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St., Marshfield at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Scituate.
In keeping with Emily’s affection towards helping children with special needs, Contributions in her memory may be made to the John Fahey/Emily Fahey Special Needs Fund which will be used for a scholarship to benefit a child with special needs.
