Obituary

Randolph – Nancy S. (Lewis) Willis 89, formerly of Randolph and Carver, died Sunday October 20 after a period of failing health. She was the beloved wife for over 60 years to the late Albert L. Willis.

Born in Somerville and raised in Randolph she was the daughter of the late Murray and Serena (Bruce) Lewis, and a graduate of Stetson High School.

For many years Nancy had been a familiar face working for Dr. Weiner, and later managed an office in Braintree for the Liberty Mutual Insurance Company.

Prior to her retirement and move to Carver where she along with her husband had lived for over 20 years, Nancy had been a lifelong resident of Randolph. For the past year she had been a resident of Stafford Hills of Plymouth.

She had served as a Eucharistic Minister in the Episcopal Church and was member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Randolph and the Christ Episcopal Church of Plymouth. In later years she had also been a member of the First Congregational Church of Whitman, UCC.

Nancy was an avid and talented quilter and a member and past president of the Cranberry Quilters Guild.

She will truly be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving sons Lawrence Willis and his wife Joanne of Westford, David Willis and Katherine Mills of Randolph, Andrew Willis and his wife Donna of Whitman. She is also survived by her grandchildren Daniel R. Willis of Abington and Victoria M. Willis of Cambridge, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Daniel A. Willis and sister of the late Ensign Victor A. Lewis and Carolyn (Lewis) McGlaughlin.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
