Delores (Feijo) Rocha, 77, of Westport, passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Morris R. Furtado.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of the late Joaquim B. and Catherine T. (Oliveira) Feijo, she had been a lifelong resident of Westport. Prior to her retirement, she was a Corporate Ombudsman for the Polaroid Corporation of New Bedford. She was a member of various boards including the New Bedford Chamber of Commerce, of which she was also Chairman from 1991-1992 and the Schwartz Center in Dartmouth. Mrs. Rocha loved to dance and enjoyed traveling.
Including her husband she is survived by her cherished nephew: Paul Rocha.
