The Huscher family is saddened to announce the passing of Joey Erick Huscher, 33, of Ventura CA. Joey, peacefully passed away in his sleep, Friday morning October 18th, 2013 after a long battle with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Joey was born here in Ventura County on June 5th, 1980. It was a beautiful spring day. He grew up here in Ventura and attended our local schools. Those who had the privilege of knowing Joey found him to be a genuinely caring and loving individual, who always put the needs of other, before his own. He was a true human being in every sense of the word.
Joey loved surfing, body boarding, swimming, snow boarding, fishing and spending time with his friends. He also enjoyed motorcycle, ATV, and bicycle riding, hiking, camping, paintballing, snow skiing, and drawing. Joey was an amazing artist.
Joey worked locally in the construction trade until he was stricken with severe Rheumatoid Arthritis at the early age of twenty five years old.
Joey fought a courageous battle against devastating obstacles and he will be missed by his family and his many friends.
Joey is survived by his father Pete Huscher, his aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews and his many, many friends.
