Obituary


Lawrence F. Lyman Sr., of West Yarmouth, formerly of Sharon, a retired Union Carpenter died October 19, 2013 following a brief illness. He was 72 years old.

Born in Boston, Larry grew up in Sharon. He married Jean Malcolmson of Canton in 1959.

He was a proud member of the Local Carpenter’s Union #218. Larry was a member of the Sharon V.F.W, the Canton Town Club, the Sharon Country Club, and enjoyed Big D’s in Canton. He was a former coach of youth baseball and youth football. He was an avid golfer and sports fan.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife Jean A. Lyman ( Malcolmson) of West Yarmouth. Loving father of Kathleen Parrish of West Yarmouth, Lauri Bonfilio and her husband Al of Medfield, Lawrence Jr. and his wife Anne of Dedham, and Stephen of Bridgewater. Loving brother of Catherine Heuser of Fl. Larry is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St., Canton, Wednesday, October 23, from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment is private.
