Michael Wayne Johnson, 62 of Ventura passed away on Monday morning October 21, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Michael was born June 3, 1951 in Knoxville, Tennessee and was a Ventura county resident for the past 56 years. Michael was a machinist for 30 years working at the quality machine shop in Ventura. He was a U.S. Marine Corp Veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years Connie Johnson; daughters Laura Reagan of Ventura, Amy Gomez of Barstow, Sarah Johnson of Hanford, CA, Carol Lashbrook and her husband Jerry of Ventura, and Anna Harwood and her husband Rick of Ventura; a son Gary Clark of Ventura; a sister Cathy Hastings and her husband Vern of Washington; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2pm on Friday October 25th, 2013 the River Community Church 889 East Santa Clara Street at Kalorama Street, Ventura with Pastor Jim Duran Officiating.
